Industrial production in Azerbaijan’s non-oil and gas sector grows 2% 

In January 2023, industrial enterprises and individual entrepreneurs in this field manufactured products worth 6.5 billion manats ($3.82 billion), down 4.3% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

During the reporting period, production in the oil sector fell by 4.9%, and the non-oil and gas sector increased by 2%.

Some 74.1% of industrial products were formed in the mining sector, 20.5% in the processing sector, 4.9% in the production, distribution, and supply of electricity, gas, and steam, and 0.5% in the water supply, water treatment, and waste processing sector.

Marketable oil production in the mining sector decreased by 6.9%, and marketable gas production by 1.3%.

The production, distribution, and supply of electricity, gas, and the steam grew by 8.3%, and the water supply, water treatment, and waste processing sector ascended by 15.4%.
