Gold production in Azerbaijan down about 16%

In January-April 2023, Azerbaijan produced 715.8 kg of gold (-15.8%) and 1,393.2 kg of silver (-29.5%), Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

In the reporting period, the production of copper concentrate in Azerbaijan was 1,115.9 tons, up 44.5% from the same period in 2022.

As of May 1 of this year, the finished products made up 97.6 kg of gold, 64.8 kg of silver, and 412.4 tons of copper.
