Car production more than doubled in Azerbaijan's industrial zones

In 2023, car production in industrial zones of Azerbaijan increased by 109% or 2.1 times year-on-year, Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov said, Report informs.

“Positive dynamics are observed at automobile production enterprises in the industrial zones of Azerbaijan. Car production in industrial zones began in 2018, with a total of 712 cars produced that year. In 2023, this number was 4,233. This shows an increase of 109% compared to 2022,” he said.
