AzerGold unveils gold production plan for 2024

Last year, AzerGold CJSC produced 63,700 ounces of gold, Chairman of the Board of AzerGold CJSC Zakir Ibrahimov said at a press conference dedicated to the results of 2023 and upcoming tasks, Report informs.
He noted that this is the highest annual figure for the entire period of the company’s activities.
Ibrahimov added that 114,300 ounces of silver were extracted last year.
"Thus, gold production exceeded the plan by 2%, and silver by 6%. In 2023, gold production increased by 1,700 ounces, or 3%, compared to 2022."
He also emphasized that the production plan for 2024 is 70,000 ounces of gold, which is 9% more than in 2023, and 156,800 ounces of silver, which is 27% more.
