AzerGold reveals production numbers of past 5 years

AzerGold CJSC produced 256,500 ounces of gold and 488,000 ounces of silver during five years of its operation, Chairman of the AzerGold Board Zakir Ibrahimov said at a press conference on the results of 2021 and the tasks ahead, Report informs.

"Last year, a number of important steps were taken to increase the efficiency of AzerGold's use of mineral resources and optimize production processes. In the reporting year, production reached 61,500 ounces of gold and 134,400 ounces of silver. Thus, gold production exceeded the plan by 11% and silver production by 55%. In 2021, gold production increased by 2.5% and silver output rose by 10.9% from 2020," Ibrahimov noted.
