Azerbaijan to produce dredging vessel for first time

Agreement on tripartite cooperation was signed between Baku Shipyard LLC, a resident of Garadag Industrial Park in Baku, Baku International Sea Trade Port CJSC and Damen Shipyards Gorinchem B.V. of the Netherlands on Thursday, Report informs.
The agreement was signed by Elshad Nuriyev, Chairman of the Board of Baku Shipyard, Taleh Ziyadov, Director-General of Baku International Sea Trade Port, and Vadim Akimov, representative of Damen Shipyards Gorinchem BV.
With the execution of the document, a dredging vessel will be produced jointly with the Dutch company at the Baku Shipyard. The facility will be important for the removal of obstacles in the ports as a result of the lowering of the Caspian Sea level.
