Azerbaijan sees 6% drop in Nakhchivan’s industrial production

In January-April of 2025, industrial products worth just over 162.3 million manats ($95.4 million) were produced in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee of the autonomous republic.
According to data, this is 6% less than the indicator for the corresponding period of 2024.
Of total industrial production, 130.8 million manats ($76.9 million) or 80.6% fell to goods, while 31.5 million manats ($18.5 million) or 19.4% fell to services.
Some 0.2% of industrial products were produced in the mining sector, 76.7% in the processing sector, 20.9% in the electricity, gas and steam production, distribution and supply sector, and 2.2% in water supply, waste treatment and processing sector.
