Azerbaijan’s industrial production down 1%

In 2022, industrial enterprises and individual entrepreneurs operating in this field manufactured products worth 86 billion manats ($50.59 billion), down 1.1% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

During the reporting period, production in the oil sector fell by 2.5%, and the non-oil and gas sector increased by 7.1%.

Some 75.4% of industrial products were formed in the mining sector, 20.6% in the processing sector, 3.4% in the production, distribution, and supply of electricity, gas, and steam, and 0.6% in the water supply, water treatment, and waste processing sector.

Marketable oil production in the mining sector decreased by 5.6%, while marketable gas production rose by 7.3%.

The production, distribution, and supply of electricity, gas, and the steam sector grew by 2.3%, and the water supply, water treatment, and waste processing sector ascended by 8.4%.
