Azerbaijan’s Azeripek LLC sees 14% growth in export earnings

In January-April 2022, Azeripek LLC, a subsidiary of Azerbaijan Industrial Corporation OJSC, exported products worth $0.8 million, Report informs referring to the Export Review of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications.

Compared to 2020, this is an increase of $0.1 million, or 14.3%.

Azeripek LLC was established in 2018. The annual production capacity of the enterprise for processing seeded cotton is 3,000 tons, for the production of raw silk from unwound cocoons - 350 tons of wet cocoons and 450,000 linear meters of silk, 400,000 tons of semi-finished cotton fabric, for dyeing production – 24,000 kelaghai (traditional women’s headwear), 4,000 scarves and 8,000 headscarves. The company mainly exports its products to Russia, Turkey and Iran.
