Azerbaijan increases gold production by nearly 64%

Azerbaijan produced 1,297.8 kg of gold and 1,686.9 kg of silver from January to May of this year.

Report informs, citing the State Committee of Statistics, that gold production grew by 63.9% and silver production by 23.8% during the first five months of 2025, compared to the same period last year.

Additionally, copper concentrate production in Azerbaijan rose more than tenfold, totaling 917.3 tons.

As of June 1, gold reserves stood at 119.4 kg, silver at 583.6 kg, and copper concentrate at 80.5 ton.
