Azerbaijan decreases car production by about 11%

From January through November 2022, Azerbaijan produced machinery and equipment, cars, trailers, and semi-trailers, and other vehicles worth 466.4 million manats (roughly $274.35 million), Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

The State Statistical Committee told Report that machinery and equipment production surged 46.9%, other transport facilities went up 3.4-fold, and cars, trailers, and semi-trailers – by 73.9%.

For the January-to-November period of 2022, 1,812 private vehicles were produced in Azerbaijan, 216 cars or 10.7% less than the same period last year. As of December 1, 2022, the country has stocked 180 finished products.

During the first eleven months of this year, Azerbaijan produced 556 tractors, 8.9% less than in January-November 2021. As a result, the country had 18 finished products as of December 1.
