Azerbaijan boosts gold output by nearly 6%

Azerbaijan produced over 1,248 kg of gold and approximately 1,907 kg of silver in the first seven months of 2024, Report informs, citing the country’s State Statistical Committee.
According to the obtained data, the country’s gold output rose by 5.6 percent, while silver output dropped by 20.1 percent year-on-year.
In the reporting period, the production of copper concentrate in Azerbaijan stood at 112 tons, marking a sharp decline of 94.6% compared to the same period in 2022.
As of August 1, 2024, Azerbaijan had reserves of 105.6 kg of gold, 79.9 kg of silver, and 25.9 tons of copper concentrate.
