Automakers in Japan being searched due to suspicions of production violations

Searches are taking place at the headquarters of major Japanese automakers, including Toyota, in connection with possible production violations, according to the Kyodo agency, Report informs referring to TASS.

At least five Japanese automakers are being raided, including Toyota and Mazda.

The Ministry of Transport ordered these two companies to suspend the shipment of vehicles.

Toyota has already announced that it will give an urgent press conference during the day in connection with the incident.
