Aluminium price hits $3,000 for first time since 2008

For the first time since July 2008, the aluminum price on the world market has exceeded $3,000 a ton, Report informs, citing foreign media.
According to the report, the price of 1 ton of aluminium increased by 1.5%, amounting to $3,006 on the London Metal Exchange (LME) with the delivery period after three months.
