Abdullah Tancan: Geological exploration report to be prepared in Nakhchivan

Geological exploration work will be carried out in Nakhchivan in accordance with international standards, Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Türkiye, Abdullah Tancan, told Report’s Nakhchivan bureau.

He stated that the geological exploration report will be prepared based on the research results:

"If the studies identify an economically viable exploration site (deposit), the local ministry will discuss and assess how to open it for development. If necessary, Turkish entrepreneurs are also ready to come to Nakhchivan and actively support this process. At present, the main goal is to carry out geological exploration work and prepare reports," Tancan said.

The deputy minister added that currently, all efforts in Türkiye are focused on extinguishing wildfires, and only after that will the causes of the fires be investigated.
