World Cup in Greco-Roman Wrestling starts in Baku today

The World Cup in Greco-Roman Wrestling starts at the Baku Sports Palace today.

Report informs that bouts will be held in groups A and B on the first day of the contest.

The Turkish and Iranian teams will meet in Group A. It will be followed by the tournament opening ceremony at 04:00 PM (GMT +4).

The bouts between Iran and Kyrgyzstan, as well as Turkiye and Kyrgyzstan will start at 05:00 PM (GMT +4). In Group B, the Azerbaijani team will meet the All-World team.

The Serbian wrestlers that were to vie in Group B won't take part in the tournament due to numerous cases of coronavirus.

The World Cup will end on November 6.
