World champion wins 25th gold medal for Azerbaijan at Islamic Games

Azerbaijani kickboxing national team won the first gold medal at the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games held in Konya, Turkiye, Report says, citing the press service of the Azerbaijan Kickboxing Federation.
The world champion and winner of the 11th World Games, Bahram Rajabzade (low kick, +91 kg), defeated the host Turkish athlete Kadir Yildirim in the final.
In addition, Amil Mammadov (full contact, 51 kg) also won a bronze medal.
Bahram Rajabzade's achievement was the 25th gold medal won by Azerbaijan at Islamiada.
