Virtual Azerbaijan Grand Prix to have 22 mln viewers

Virtual World Championship of Formula 1 Azerbaijani Grand Prix will start on June 7 with 16 cyber athletes.

Report informs, former pilots include Sergio Perez, Pierre Gasly, Alex Albon, Antonio Giovinazzi, Nicholas Latifi, Charles Leclerc and Lando Norris.

Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte, Milan’s goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois will also compete in the Grand Prix.

The virtual competition, which will start at 17:00 Baku time, will be broadcast on YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, as well as partner TV channels.

In total, more than 22 million Formula 1 fans will watch the Azerbaijani Grand Prix live. Formula 2 and Formula 3 races will be held 2 hours before the main Grand Prix.
