Tokyo postpones Olympic Qualifying Tournament

The authorized representatives intend to extend the term for another month. As part of these measures, discounts for Japanese athletes and foreigners returning to the country from abroad have been canceled.

The International Swimming Federation, the Organizing Committee of Tokyo 2020, and the Japan Swimming Federation discuss the possibility of postponing the competition to April or May. The tournament was to be held on March 4-7.

Tokyo deferred the 2020 Summer Olympics from July 23 to August 8 this year.
