Baku. 23 April. REPORT.AZ/ Today, games of V tour are being held at the "ShamkirChess 2018" tournament dedicated to the memorial of late Azerbaijani grandmaster Vugar Hashimov.
Report informs, Azerbaijani representative, Rauf Mammadov played in a draw with Russian chess player, Sergey Karyakin in white figures. The meeting ended with "peace" after 47th move.
Currently, the meetings of Ding Liren (China) - Teymur Rajabov (Azerbaijan), Shahriyar Mammadyarov (Azerbaijan) - Anis Giri (Netherlands), David Navara (Czech Republic) - Veselin Topalov (Bulgaria), Magnus Carlsen (Norway) - Radosław Vojtacek (Poland) are underway.
Notably, Rauf Mammadov drew in previous games as well.
