Baku. 3 September. REPORT.RU/ Russia has announced the judo team squad for the World Championship (WC) to be held in Baku, Report informs citing the Russian Judo Federation.
Head coach Ezio Gamba will rely on 9 men and 9 women in individual competitions. The team includes 11 judokas for team competitions.
The judokas, who will participate in the WC in Baku, also includes winners of Rio-de Janeiro Summer Olympics – Beslan Mudranov , Khasan Khalmurzaev and bronze medalist Natalia Kuziutina.
Men:
Beslan Mudranov (60 kg). The 32-year-old judoka is the winner of the Rio de Janeiro Summer Olympics, double European champion and silver medalist of the world championship. He won gold medal in Baku 2015 First European Games.
Robert Mshvidobadze (60 kg). The 29-year-old judoka is the winner of the European Championship held in Warsaw, Poland last year and Grand Prix.
Mikhail Pulyaev (66 kg). The 31-year-old judoka is the silver medalist of the world championship held in Budapest. He won the same medals in 2014 and 2015, bronze medal in Baku 2015 First European Games and European Championship.
Khasan Khalmurzaev (81 kg). The 25-year-old judoka is winner of the Rio de Janeiro Summer Olympics and European champion. Along with winning bronze medal in the last year’s championship, he ranked first in the European Cup for three times.
Aslan Lappinagov (81 kg). The 25-year-old judoka won bronze medal at European Championship for two times. He won Big Helmet and Grand Prix.
Khusen Khalmurzaev (90 kg). The 25-year-old judoka, who is double bronze medalist of the European championship, ranked first at Grand Prix for three times.
Mikhail Igolnikov (90 kg). The 22-year-old judoka has become winner of the European Championship held in Tel-Aviv, Israel this year. He is also winner of Big Helmet and Grand Prix.
Kiril Denisov (100 kg). The 30-year-old judoka, who won 3 bronze and 2 silver medals in the world championships, is the winner of Baku 2015 first European Games. He is double European champion.
Niyaz Ilyasov (100 kg). The 25-year-judoka is winner of Big Helmet and Grand Prix.
Women:
Irina Dolgova (48 kq). The 23-year-old winner of European Championship held in Tel-Aviv this year won bronze medal in Baku 2015 first European Games. She is double winner of Big Helmet and Grand Prix competitions.
Sabina Giliazova (48 kq). The 24-year-old judoka is the silver and bronze medalist of Big Helmet and Grand Prix competitions.
Natalia Kuziutina (52 kq). The 29-year-old judoka is the bronze medalist of Rio-de-Janeiro Summer Olympics, quadruple European Champion. She ranked 3rd in the World Championships for three times.
Yulia Kazarina (52 kq). The 29-year-old judoka, who is bronze medalist of the European Championship held in Kazan in 2016, ranked first at the Grand Prix in Abu-Dhabi five years ago.
Anastasia Konkina (57 kq). The judoka, 25, is the bronze medalist of European Championship in individual and team competitions held in Tel-Aviv this year.
Ekaterina Valkova (63 kq). The 27-year-old judoka won bronze medals in European Championships in 2013 and 2016.
Darya Davidova (63 kq). The 27-year-old judoka ranked first at Grand Prix held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan in 2016.
Alyona Prokopenko (70 kq). The 26-year-old judoka won bronze medal in team competitions in the European Championship this year.
Alexandra Babintseva, 25, won bronze medal in team competitions in the European Championship this year.

The 2018 World Judo Championships will be held between 20 and 27 September 2018 at National Gymnastics Arena in Baku, Azerbaijan.
