Rafiz Hasanov defeats Armenia's best karateka in Moscow

Azerbaijan karateka Rafiz Hasanov defeated the best karateka of Armenia, Davit Makyan, with a score of 5:0 at the Moscow - Karate Universe international tournament held in the capital of Russia, Report informs.
The athlete claimed a silver medal by losing only in the final bout to the local athlete Ernest Sharofutdinova.
Azerbaijan team, which participated with 11 karatekas in the tournament where 307 athletes from 15 countries competed, won 6 medals
Asiman Gurbanli (84+ kg) won a gold medal. Rafiz Hasanov (-75 kg) took second place. Roman Heydarov (kata), Aminagha Guliyev (-60 kg), Huseyn Mammadli (-67 kg), and Panah Abdullayev claimed bronze medals.
