President's Cup-2025 int’l regatta to kick off in Sugovushan

The President's Cup-2025 international regatta, commemorating the 102nd anniversary of Azerbaijan's National Leader, Heydar Aliyev, will commence in Sugovushan on April 30, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijan Canoe and Rowing Federation (ACRF).

According to the ACRF, the event's official opening ceremony will begin at 11:00 (GMT+4). Over 200 athletes from more than 20 countries across Europe, Asia, and Africa are expected to participate.

Following the opening ceremony, spectators will enjoy on-water shows and demonstration performances by rowers. The competition will then proceed with athletes vying for the first medals in the 200-meter race distance.
