Over 300 chess players to participate in Baku Open - 2024

About 300 chess players will perform at the Baku Open - 2024 International Chess Festival, which will be held with the joint support of the Azerbaijan Chess Federation (ACF), the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the ACF.

In addition to Azerbaijan, chess players from Bulgaria, Georgia, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Türkiye, Ukraine, the US, Uzbekistan and participants playing under the FIDE flag will compete in the tournament dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the International Chess Federation (FIDE).

Azerbaijani chess players Rauf Mammadov, Gadir Huseynov, Aydin Suleymanli, Muhammad Muradli, including Gunay Mammadzadeh, Govhar Beidullayeva, Ulviyya Fataliyeva, Khanim Balajayeva, Gulnar Mammadova and others will participate in the tournament.
