Azerbaijan resumes onion exports to Bulgaria

In January-March of 2024, Azerbaijan exported 1,376 tons of onions worth $440,400 million, 36% less year-on-year (YoY) in terms of quantity and 10% less YoY in terms of value, Report informs citing the State Statistical Committee.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan exported 964.7 tons of onions (there was no supply a year ago) worth $284,600 to Iraq, 143.1 tons (+11%) worth $74,800 to Russia, 99.7 tons (there was no supply a year ago) worth $44,900 to Oman, 99.2 tons (-95%) worth $20,300 (-94%) to Georgia, 23.5 tons worth $5,600 to Bulgaria.
Azerbaijan exported onions to Bulgaria after a break of four years and two months.
