Over 100 athletes to take part in int’l regatta “President’s Cup-2023”

More than 100 local and foreign athletes will take part in the international regatta “President’s Cup-2023,” dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the national leader Heydar Aliyev, Report informs.

The competitions will be held in Sugovushan and Mingachevir from May 4 to 7 under the joint organization of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Azerbaijan Canoe and Rowing Federation.

This year the regatta “President’s Cup-2023” is included in the calendar plan of the European Canoe Association for the first time.

Leaders of rowing federations of a number of countries, as well as international federations, will visit Azerbaijan to observe the regatta.
