One more Azerbaijani boxer reaches 1/4 finals in World Championship

Baku. 29 August. REPORT.AZ/ The 1/8 finals of the Hamburg 2017 AIBA World Boxing Championships has finished.
Report informs, on the last day of the stage two boxers from Azerbaijan entered the ring.One of them - Magomedrasul Majidov (+91 kg) gained his next victory in mundial. He defeated two times world champion Jordanian Hussein Ishaish - 5: 0 (30:27, 30:26, 30:27, 30:27, 30:27). Majidov will face Kamili-Din Abudo-Moindze from France in 1/4 finals on August 29.
However, Parviz Bagirov (69 kg) has lost in fight against Mongolian Byambyn Tüvshinbat 1:4 (28:29, 27:30, 29:28, 27:30, 27:30).
Notably, earlier Kamran Shahsuvarly (75 kg) has reached 1/4 finals. Lorenzo Sotomayor (64 kg) lost the fight in the 1/8 finals.
