Azerbaijani wrestlers are determined to achieve better results in upcoming tournaments, Azerbaijani freestyle wrestler Osman Nurmagomedov (92 kg), who won a bronze medal at the World Wrestling Championships in Zagreb, Croatia, told Report.
He noted that it's especially nice to return to his homeland after tough fights.
"After every tournament, we're greeted warmly. I'd like to thank the fans and management for their support. We achieved a good result, but we'll strive for even better," the athlete said.
Osman Nurmagomedov defeated Georgia's Miriani Maisuradze 5-1 in the fight for third place.
