National Olympic Committee president: Namibia has a lot to learn from Azerbaijan

Abner Axel Xoagub, President of the Namibian National Olympic Committee, said his country has a lot to learn from Azerbaijan, Report informs.

At the official opening ceremony of the Mingachevir Regatta 2024, the Namibian sports official stated that it is an honor for him to be at the tournament:

"I never thought I would watch such a competition. I'm happy to have come to Azerbaijan. I've been to nearly 100 countries. But I haven't seen such a close relationship between the country and the National Olympic Committee anywhere else. For this reason, both parties deserve gratification."

Abner Axel Xoagub emphasized that he was very satisfied with the organization of the tournament: "Everything is magnificent."

The tournament will end on October 18.
