Azerbaijan Grand Prix will probably get canceled

The fate of some Grand Prix remains uncertain, and they are expected to be canceled, so new solutions should be considered, Report says citing Autosport.pt.

According to the website, one of the options can be a double-header in Russia’s Sochi. Russia agreed to host two back-to-back races this season. Sochi, with a circuit winding around the Olympic Park, is due to host the Russian Grand Prix. There are many hotels nearby the racetrack, which will make it easier for the team staff to maintain social distance.

Italy also intends to host another race, in addition to Monza. Besides, the German Grand Prix can also be added to the list.

On the other hand, Grand Prix in Canada, Azerbaijan, and Singapore will likely get canceled as the races take place at the city circuit.

Earlier, the Formula 1 delayed the Grand Prix of Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Vietnam, China, the Netherlands, Spain, and Canada and canceled the rounds of Australian and Monaco Grand Prix. The Azerbaijani Grand Prix was originally scheduled for June 5-7.
