Maxim Medvedev's injury: Defender will be out of the pitch for 10 days

Captain Maxim Medvedev, who was removed from the squad for injuries during training within Azerbaijani national football team, will not be able to play for about 10 days, spokesman for Qarabag FC Nurlan Ibrahimov told Report. Medvedev suffered leg muscle strain during the first training session.

The experienced footballer will miss a friendly against Sumgait on November 22 in the 12th round of the Premier League. His participation in match against Sevilla FC on November 28 in the fifth round of the UEFA Champions League is under question.

Notably, the national team of Azerbaijan will be the guest of the national team of Slovakia on November 19 in the final match of the qualifying round of Euro 2020.
