Lithuanian ambassador: Nice to see various sports developing in Azerbaijan

It is nice to see various sports developing in Azerbaijan, Lithuanian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Egidijus Navikas told Report.

"Different kinds of sports are developed in each country. Azerbaijan is famous for its achievements in combat sports. Although golf is not so popular and developed in many countries, it is very nice to see that attention is being paid to its development in this country," the ambassador said.

The diplomat noted that it is always nice to see Azerbaijani athletes returning to the country with medals.

"I congratulate Azerbaijan on the National Sports Day, which is celebrated on March 5, and wish further success in this field, especially at the Olympic Games," added Navikas.
