Italian swimmer Gregorio Paltrinieri suffers elbow injury at Paris-2024

Italian swimmer and flag bearer Gregorio Paltrinieri broke his elbow during the closing ceremony of the Paris-2024 Olympic Games.

According to Report, the Italian swimmer himself announced it with a post on Instagram after returning to Italy, mentioning that he had surgery and plans to return to sports soon.

Paltrinieri earned a silver medal in the 1,500 meters and a bronze medal in the 800 meters at the Paris Olympics.
