The names of winners among men in rifle shooting at a distance of 300 meters have been determined at the ISSF World Championship in Baku, Report informs.
The representative of Hungary Istvan Peni took first place.
He scored the same points as Norwegian silver medalist Andre Kimmich (587), but was ahead of his opponent in additional indicators. The bronze medal went to American shooter Timothy Sherry, who scored 1 point less.
In the team competition, Austria won the gold medal. Switzerland took silver and Norway grabbed bronze.
The 53rd ISSF World Championship in Baku has been the biggest global event in this sport since 2018. About 2,000 athletes and delegates from more than 100 countries take part in the competition.
