Int’l conference ‘Contemporary developments in sport sciences’ underway in Baku

The second international scientific conference on the topic “Contemporary developments in sport sciences”, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev, has kicked off in Baku, Report informs.

The event was organized by the Azerbaijan State Academy of Physical Education and Sport.

The main goal of the conference is to discuss modern theories and new trends in sports sciences, exchange opinions between various representatives of the sports industry.

Rector of the Azerbaijan State Academy of Physical Education and Sport Fuad Hajiyev, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Farhad Hajiyev and member of the Parliamentary Committee on Youth and Sports Affairs Ulvi Guliyev spoke at the opening of the conference.

The conference will continue on December 1 with presentations and discussions covering various areas of sports science.
