Baku. 26 September. REPORT.AZ/ The individual bouts within the world championship held in Baku will end today.
Report informs that two Azerbaijani judokas - Ushangi Kokauri (+100 kg) and Irina Kindzerska (+78 kg) will compete on the seventh championship day. Both athletes will join the competitions from the 1/16 final to encounter Vladislav Terpitsky of Belarus and Lithuanian Sandra Jablonskyte respectively as their first rivals.
The first bouts are to start at 10.00 am and the medal bouts at 04.00 pm.
Notably, within the five other days Azerbaijani athletes Aisha Gurbanli (48 kg), Buyankishiq Purevsuren (52 kg), Ichinkhorloo Munkhtsedev (57 kg), Orkhan Safarov, Karamat Huseynov (both 60 kg), Nijat Shikhalizada (66 kg), Rustam Orujov, Hidayat Heydarov (both 73 kg) and Mammadali Mehdiyev (90 kg), Elmar Gasimov and Zelim Kotsoiev finished their participation with only Heydarov claiming bronze.
The world championship will be concluded with mixed team competitions due on September 27.
