IJF to hold its first gender equality conference in Baku

Baku. 27 August. REPORT.AZ/ The International Judo Federation (IJF) will hold its first conference dedicated to gender equality on the eve of World Championships on September 19 in Hilton Hotel, Baku, Report informs citing  IJF’s website.

The event will be held under the leadership of the IJF Competition Manager Lisa Allan.

The conference will be attended by IJF President Marius L. Vizer, Rozália-Ibolya Biró, President of Croatian judo federation, married Sanda Corak, Chair of the Judo Federation of Australia (JFA) Kate Corkery, Japan Akiko Amano, Brazilian Yuko Fujii, Driton Kuka and Majlinda Kelmendi from Kosovo, Austrian Sabrina Filzmoser and other people.

The event will start at 4:30 p.m. and end at 7:00 p.m.

The World Judo Championship will be held on September 20-27 at The National Gymnastics Arena, Baku.
