Funds allocated for development of weightlifting in Azerbaijan over past two years announced

Baku. 20 September. REPORT.AZ/ The Azerbaijan Athletics Federation (AAF) spent AZN 5 mln for the development of this sport in the last two years, President of the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) Tamás Aján said at a press conference in Baku.

Report informs that, according to him, the funds have been used for the construction of new gyms and purchase of inventories. Aján added that he will talk with AAF President Jahangir Askerov to include an Azerbaijani sports journalist into the IWF press commission.
