Corner of Azerbaijan opens in Slovakia

The official opening of a corner of Azerbaijan took place in the OCEP (Olympic Program of Culture and Education) pavilion in the Slovak city of Banska Bystrica.

Report has learned from the National Olympic Committee (NOC) that the opening of the OCEP pavilion was one of the significant events of the 16th Summer European Youth Olympic Festival.

In the OCEP pavilion, with the participation of 28 countries, Azerbaijan was represented by students from two sister schools in Slovakia and Baku secondary school No. 229, named after Yuri Kovalev. The opening ceremony was attended by NOC Secretary General Azer Aliyev, President of the Slovak Olympic Committee Anton Siekel, and others.
