Boxers to represent Azerbaijan in 2nd European Games revealed

Boxers to represent Azerbaijan in the 2nd European Games Minsk 2019 have been revealed.

Report informs citing press service of the Boxing Federation of Azerbaijan that in the games to be held on June 21-30, the team will be represented by 11 athletes.

Men's team is represented by Rufat Huseynov (49 kg), Masud Yusifzade (52 kg), Tayfur Aliyev (56 kg), Javid Chelebiyev (60 kg), Bakhtiyar Gazibekov (64 kg), Lorenzo Sotomayor (69 kg), Kamran Shahsuvarly (75 kg), Dominguez Alfonso (81 kg), Rahil Mammadli (91 kg) and Mohammed Abdullayev (+91 kg).

Among female boxers, Maryam Jabrailova (69 kg) will enter the ring.

During the 2nd European Games the boxing competitions will be held at the Sports Palace "Uruchye". The competitions will start on June 21. June 27 is a day of rest, and in the next three days the winners will be determined.

Note that the team that completed the training camp will depart for Belarus at 04:35 on June 18.
