Boxers from 11 countries to take part in tournament dedicated to 100th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev

An international tournament of juniors dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the national leader Heydar Aliyev starts in Baku on March 28, the Azerbaijan Boxing Federation told Report.

The competition will last 5 days.

Along with the Azerbaijani team, boxers from Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Belarus, Israel and Moldova will take part in the tournament.

In total, more than 100 boxers will vie for the awards.

The fights will start at 16:00. The official opening ceremony will take place on the first day of the competition at 18:00.

On March 28 at 10:30 (GMT +4), representatives of the Boxing Federation, judges and foreign guests will visit the tomb of Heydar Aliyev and the Alley of Martyrs.
