Azerbaijani taekwondo fighter wins gold in Sweden

Azerbaijani taekwondo athletes have won four medals at the 5th President's Cup Europe 2020 in Helsingborg, Sweden.

Payam Gobadi Ogaz (87 kg), an athlete of the national team, claimed gold, Report informs.

Other taekwondo athletes Aykhan Tagizade (74 kg), Radik Isayev (87+ kg), and Patimat Abakarova (53 kg) have lost in the semifinal and took third place.

The sportsmen will fight at the 2020 Helsingborg Open tournament on February 22.
