Azerbaijani karateka clinches gold in Croatia

Azerbaijani karateka Rahib Azim has secured a gold medal in the +76 kg category at the prestigious K Karate1 Youth League - Poreč 2024 in Croatia, Report informs.
The young athlete was placed on the highest level of the podium in the under-21 competition.
The Azerbaijani team at the tournament was led by Gabil Sayadov, the Secretary General of the Azerbaijan Karate Federation, and Anar Allahverdiyev, the head coach of the national youth team.
