Azerbaijani judokas secure three medals on first day of European Cup in Georgia

Azerbaijani judokas made a strong start at the European Cup among adults, held in Gori, Georgia, securing three medals on the opening day, Report informs, citing the Judo Federation.

Nazir Talibov dominated the 66 kg category, defeating all his opponents to claim the gold medal.

Babarahim Mirzayev (60 kg) earned silver, while Nariman Mirzayev (73 kg) took bronze, adding to Azerbaijan's success in the tournament.

A total of 169 judokas from 15 countries are competing, testing their strength in this prestigious event.
