Azerbaijani female wrestler wins silver at World Championship

An Azerbaijani female wrestler has claimed a silver medal at the U-20 World Championship held in Samokov, Bulgaria, Report informs.
On the fifth day of the competition, Ruzanna Mammadova (62 kg) secured second place on the podium.
She was narrowly defeated in the final by China’s Yangzhen Yangzhen, based on the last-point rule, with a score of 6–6.
Earlier in the tournament, another Azerbaijani wrestler, Gunay Gurbanova (59 kg), earned a bronze medal.
