Azerbaijani boxer crowned European champion

The final bouts of the European Junior Boxing Championship held in Sofia (Bulgaria) have kicked off.
According to Report, the first to enter the ring was a member of the Azerbaijani national team Kanan Babayev, who had previously defeated Turkish athlete Telet Yagili, Georgian Oruj Ahmadov and Irishman Teddy Joyce.
In his final bout, he encountered Poland's Nikolas Marcel Pawlik. The bout held in the weight category up to 48 kg ended with a confident victory of the representative of Azerbaijan - 5:0 (29:28, 29:28, 29:28, 30:27, 29:28), bringing him the gold medal.
