Azerbaijani billiards player claims European gold

Azerbaijani athlete Tofig Guliyev became the European champion in billiards, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijan Billiards Federation.

He won a gold medal at the European Championship Russian Pyramid held in Chisinau, the capital of Moldova. 70 billiard players from 7 countries competed in the competition.

Ukrainian Dmytro Pokotilsky occupied second place. The other Azerbaijani representative, Niyazi Khalafov, claimed the bronze medal.
