Azerbaijani athlete reaches European Championship final

Azerbaijani athlete Anna Skidan has made her way to the final of the European Championship in Munich.

Report informs that the 30-year-old hammer thrower showed a result of 74.57 meters in the qualification stage, showing her best indicator in the season.

The final will be take place on August 17.

Anna Skidan brought the first gold medal to Azerbaijan at the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games in the Turkish city of Konya.
