Azerbaijan weightlifting team refuses to participate in European Championship in Yerevan

The Ministry of Youth and Sports and the National Olympic Committee issued a joint statement regarding the burning of the Azerbaijani flag at the opening ceremony of the European Weightlifting Championship held in Yerevan, Armenia.
According to Report, the statement says that the national team refused to participate in the competition, citing Armenia's failure to provide security.
