Azerbaijan Triathlon Federation to hold tournament in Zangilan district

The Azerbaijan Triathlon Federation will hold a duathlon memorial tournament in Agali village of Zangilan district, President of the Federation Elchin Aliyev said at an open conference of the structure, Report informs.

He noted that the event will be dedicated to September 27 - the Day of Remembrance.

Elchin Aliyev also presented the federation’s development strategy at the event. He noted that professional athletes who have shown high results will be able to compete at the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. He added that Rostislav Pevtsov can represent the country at the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
